Rachel Clarke - The English Teacher  ~ B.A. (Hons), PGCE

A quality  education can make the world of difference to someone's life chances; an encouraging & supportive teacher is, in my opinion, worth their weight in gold. Based on a wide variety of personal experiences, I am acutely aware of the enormous benefits that can be achieved with one-to-one teaching & learning.

Having been a practising English teacher in a variety of schools in & around Norwich since gaining my PGCE at UEA in 1987, I possess numerous references which confirm the enjoyably productive working relationships I develop with learners & my record of highly successful exam preparation to GCSE level.

At a time when gaining qualifications has, arguably, never been more important, making a modest investment in private tuition is certainly worth serious consideration.  Competence in English, represented by a good grade at GCSE, is regarded as a 'must have' by employers & further education institutions alike.  It is a 'golden ticket' that will help you achieve your aspirations & you will also be equipped with the functional literacy skills for everyday needs for the rest of your life.
